It's been a while
I haven't blogged in an age, so ima guna get back into it in a few weeks time and blog regularly. For now I'll give you a summer update and reason why I've rarely blogged!
This summer has been a busy one! In between two holidays I've been working on a load of packaging design commissions, secret endeavours and even more secret projects. So I can't show you any of those yet! My biggest summer show and tell has been the release of my work towards jack Daniels whiskey! It got a brilliant response on twitter to me and the brilliant guts at Stranger and Stranger who very nicely ask me to help them on the project.
If you haven't seen the Jack D's hit my site, I'll blog it soon!
So yeh, been doing shit loads of stuff, can't show you anything! So for now follow my twitter if you don't already @benjamincarruk as I insta gram loads through there of sneak previews and so on!
Soon!

Liquid Shot Co. Commissions
So Pleased to finally share these with you.
You can see all the technical stuff about these on my website ( http://benjamincarr.co.uk/Liquid-Shot-Co-Wines )
But as this is my blog I thought id share a bit more process stuff about these on here instead. These three variations are part of a set of about 8 or so wines I did for Liquid Shot CO. the airline drinks supplier. They sit on a carton design, which i can show the top of, hence the uneasy cropping to the right of these jpegs. The brief was to create a set of wine label designs with variations for each different colour of wine (RED, WHITE, ROSE) with different pattern features but maintaining the central design elements to ensure brand continuity. We went through a very long process of alteration with these designs, the client wanted to ensure that every element of the designs worked, something which was great to hear from a client. I think as a result we went through about 30 phrases of alterations, but I think its really helped the designs. Ive been working on much more with this client so expect to see more wines, spirits and all sorts soon!
APOLOGIES FOR THE LOW RES JPEGS, SEE MY WEBSITE FOR BETTER VERSIONS!

Hunt Meat Prosecco and Cyder
Part of a project to create a hamper set for vip parties themed on popular past times of Suffolk.
Whole Hamper kit to come soon!
The idea behind this pair was to create a universal label design, reminiscent of the engravings found on old British shotguns, and differentiate different drinks by the bottle and hang tag. Here are the first two examples.
